Review: NYC Comic Con 2013 TMNT Panel

New York City Comic Con is doing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle panel each year for the new Nickelodeon series.  Very fun panels worth going to.  As I mentioned in the New York City Comic Con review I want to share this panel with everyone.  Which brings us to my review of the TMNT panel with a wonderful set of guests on stage.

The TMNT panel was a good one filled with people who I totally respect Ciro Nieli, Brandon Auman, Rob Paulsen, Greg Cipes and Hoon Lee.  They talk about Season 2 from Pizza Face to Ice Cream Kitty. The room is packed with TMNT fans and the front row was a bunch of people from Nickelodeon.  This was the day before season 2 hit the air, so they shared with us the first episode of Season 2.  It is always great to watch TMNT with a crowd, hearing the reactions from all the other TMNT fans around.  A fun panel, with a lot of laughs.  Here is the video from that panel, all video scenes are cut for respect of the studios that share these videos at conventions.

While we could not show the video of Mikey’s Ice Cream song we do want to share this one image of a photo taken during panel and here’s the lyrics to his song from the video.  Just an awesome scene we’re still waiting to see from Season 2 of Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  Greg did sing the song, during the panel which we show.  As a few of the words seemed different from the video.

“Now what would be on the best pizza ever?
Duh Hot Sauce!
I love a little hot sauce on my pizza
I love a little hot sauce yes I do
But hot sauce isn’t hot without sardines son
it just taste like sticky goo“
Some protein from a pile of worms
Garlic chives and horseradish too
Wait a second Fool
If you please I’m missing the most important part
A cheesecycle
I need my cheesecycle
Ice Cream kitty give me a cheesecycle
Come on!
Kitty Kitty Kitty
Kitty Kitty Kitty"

It is always fun getting to go to these events and hear what they want to share with us. The crew of the show always has fun stories and news to keep us on the edge of our seats.  I look forward to seeing this panel many more years at NYC Comic Con.
