Sing-A-Long with Rob Paulsen

Animaniacs is one of Americas favorite cartoons from the 1990’s.  Not only was there fun stories, amazing characters and great animation.  The show was made up of a lot of very well written and amusing songs.  From what’s in Ice Cream to the Countries around the World, this was a show that could catch the hearts of adults and children.  These characters were brought to life by a very creative team which included the voice talents of Rob Paulsen.  In this video, Rob Paulsen shares some of the history of the songs that we could hear in that inspiring cartoon.

This is the Rob Paulsen Sing-A-Long panel from Geek Fan Expo held in Michigan  August 2014.  Rob Paulsen played many voices on Animaniacs, though is known by a lof our visitors here on Cowabunga Corner for his work on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  Original he was Raphael in the Classic cartoon, staying with the show from 1987 when it first aired up to the 1995 season. In more recent years he has returned to Ninja Turtles, as Donatello in the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series which started in 2012 and is still airing new episodes.

Geek Fan Expo is a new convention in Michigan.  With great guests, fun attendees, and a creative schedule this is an event I highly recommend to people in the Michigan area.  This is my first time seeing a Guest sing a long panel.  And while no one was ready to see what would come out of it, we learned so much about the songs and got to see Rob Paulsen perform live for everyone to hear.  The only thing that could have made this better is if Rob Paulsen had advance warning he was doing this panel, in which he could have planned it out better.

It was a lot of fun to be there live at the event.  And even though we can not offer that fresh feeling to our viewers we can at least share the footage that we filmed of the event.  I hope everyone enjoys, and that some people may look into joining us for Geek Fan Expo 2015.  I know if I’m in Michigan, I will be there!

Were you able to sing along with any of the songs in the video?  If yes what songs?  Are you an Animaniacs fan?  Share your reviews, comments and questions below!
